Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park – Afternoon Game Drive.
After breakfast, depart for Akagera National Park, a scenic drive of about 2.5–3 hours. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy lunch with views of the savannah. Day 3: Full-Day Safari in Akagera – Big Game Viewing
Spend the day exploring the diverse habitats of Akagera National Park—open plains, woodlands, wetlands, and lakes. Day 4: Drive to Volcanoes National Park (via Kigali)
After a leisurely breakfast, drive back through Kigali en route to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda’s northern province. Day 5: Gorilla Trekking Experience – Once-in-a-Lifetime Encounter
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your gorilla trekking expedition. Trek through lush rainforest in search of one of the habituated gorilla families. Day 6: Lake Kivu Visit – Relax & Enjoy Scenic Views
This morning, transfer to Lake Kivu, one of Africa’s Great Lakes. Day 7: Return to Kigali – Optional Shopping – Departure
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive back to Kigali (approx. 3.5 hours). Time permitting, you can visit local art galleries, coffee shops, or souvenir markets for last-minute shopping. Later, transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Meals & overnight.
