6 Days City Excursion/Masai Mara Tour

Welcome to Nairobi.

• Arrival: You will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your city hotel for a brief check-in and introduction.
• Wildlife Centers: Proceed to the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and the Giraffe Centre. Here, you can come face-to-face with giraffes, feed them, and even get a kiss!
• Cultural Experience: After lunch en route, visit Bomas of Kenya (around 2:30 PM). This cultural center features traditional homesteads and incredible African tribal dance performances.
• Overnight: Return to Decasa Hotel (or similar) for dinner and your overnight stay.

Into the Rift Valley.

• Morning: Pick up from your hotel and begin the journey south.
• Viewpoint: Stop for 20 minutes at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint to see the stunning escarpment.
• Lunch: Enjoy lunch in Narok, the largest Maasai town.
• Arrival: Proceed to the Masai Mara, entering the famous “Serengeti Plains.”
• Game Drive: Arrive in the afternoon for an introductory evening game drive.
• Overnight: Dinner and overnight stay at Enchoro Wildlife Camp.
• Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included.

The Big Five & Rolling Plains.

• Full Day Exploration: Spend the entire day game viewing across the rich grasslands and rolling hills.
• Wildlife: The Mara is renowned for its black-maned lions, leopards, and cheetahs. It also hosts herds of elephants and virtually every type of wildlife found in Kenya.
• Picnic Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve to maximize your viewing time.
• Optional Cultural Visit: In the late afternoon, you can choose to visit a Maasai Village (optional) to learn about their culture and watch their traditional warrior dances.
• Overnight: Dinner and overnight stay at Enchoro Wildlife Camp.

Walks and Water.

• Morning Activity: Choose between a guided nature walk with Maasai Morans (3-4 hours) OR a short early morning game drive.
• Departure: Return to camp for a late breakfast, then depart for Lake Naivasha with lunch en route.
• Relaxation: Arrive in Naivasha in the late afternoon. You can relax or choose to go for an optional boat ride.
• Overnight: Dinner and overnight stay at Taphe Guest Resort.
• Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included.

Cycling & Gorges.

• Hell’s Gate National Park: After breakfast, visit Hell’s Gate. This is unique as the only park where you can ride a bicycle among wild animals like zebras and giraffes. You will also view the towering cliffs and gorges.
• Lake Naivasha Boat Ride: In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on the freshwater lake to Crescent Island for a walking safari among birds and game.
• Transfer: In the evening, drive to Nakuru town.
• Overnight: Dinner and overnight stay at Golden Palace Hotel.
• Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included.

Rhinos & Return.

• Morning Game Drive: After an early breakfast, proceed for an extensive game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is famous for its birdlife (flamingos), White and Black Rhinos, and the endangered Rothschild’s Giraffe.
• Departure: Leave Nakuru after lunch and drive back to Nairobi.
• Drop Off: Arrive in the late afternoon. You will be dropped off at your Nairobi hotel or the airport, marking the end of your safari.
