Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Kampala

Welcome to Uganda.

• Arrival: You will be met at Entebbe International Airport and transferred to Kampala.
• Briefing: Enjoy a welcome briefing about your upcoming adventure.
• Overnight: Comfortable lodge in Kampala.

Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls & Afternoon Game Drive

Journey to the Falls.

• Morning: Drive northwest to Murchison Falls National Park.
• Stop (Optional): Visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a rhino trek (extra cost).
• Afternoon: Enjoy a game drive in the park. Look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, and antelopes.
• Overnight: Budget or mid-range lodging near the park.

Day 3: Boat Cruise & Waterfall Hike

The Mighty Nile.

• Morning: Take a scenic boat cruise along the Nile River up to the base of the falls. See hippos, crocodiles, and birds.
• Afternoon: Hike to the top of the falls for breathtaking views.
• Evening: Relax at the lodge.
• Overnight: Same lodge near the park.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

The Scenic Route.

• Morning: Depart Murchison and drive south to Bwindi.
• The Drive: Pass through Queen Elizabeth National Park and the Ishasha sector. Keep an eye out for the famous tree-climbing lions!
• Arrival: Arrive at your lodge in the Bwindi area.
• Overnight: Lodge in Bwindi.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

The Main Event.

• Morning: Early breakfast, then head to Park HQ for a briefing.
• The Trek: Hike into the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (2–6 hours) to find a habituated gorilla family.
• The Encounter: Spend an unforgettable hour observing the gorillas.
• Afternoon: Relax or visit a local cultural village.
• Overnight: Lodge in Bwindi.

Day 6: Return to Entebbe/Kampala & Departure

Farewell Uganda.

• Morning: After breakfast, drive back to Entebbe or Kampala.
• Departure: You will be dropped off at the airport for your onward flight.
